Another year behind, another ahead.....and here we are, again - thankfully.
Can't help but reflect on ALL years past and wonder how many I have left. I'm not old or sick, but I am conscious that time is our, most, precious gift and no matter how much $$ we have, we can't buy any more. I, never, used to think about wasting time - which is crazy ! WE should, ALL, think about how much time we waste. You have hopes and dreams and this is the time of year when most people contemplate what they're going to do to make next year "different". That's cool, because at least most people take some time to contemplate that and, just maybe, taking that time to define what you're going to do "different" next year is working for you. There's a saying that goes something like "It doesn't matter how you start, it's how you finish." - but does it matter how you start ? That question brings it back to the value of time, right ? Here's the bold and beautiful truth: Time matters and regret sucks - Hindsight is, always, 20/20.......ahhh yes, hindsight. "I wish I did that.", "I should have", "I could have", and the acknowledgement of regret rolls on. Regret DOESN'T MEAN you didn't value time, you just made the wrong decision - but that's life and the emphasis, herein, IS to value time. My belief is that those who value time have less regrets than those who don't. Year after year rolls on and if things aren't happening, over all the years, that you dream about and want - then you need REAL change. Yes, how you finish DOES MATTER - but you best value every second you have. Truth is, you'll finish stronger once you understand AND respect the value of time. Another saying is "doing the same thing over and over - and expecting a different result, is the definition of insanity. You ready for 2016 ? Really ? I am ~ Best to ya - Mik
