Another year is coming to a close and I ask myself - what now ?

What am I going to do, in 2013, that I didn't do in 2012 ?
What changes am I going to make ?
What "improvements" am I going to implement ?

How can I make myself better ??

I see a world full of potential and I'm, always, in awe of those of us who seem to get it right - 
They excel in school, go on to college - where they get their degree and roll on through life like a good soldier, dedicating their life to their "work".

For many of us, that's life.
Go to school, graduate and go to work - earn that $$ for the family - or whatever the purpose.

Then, they retire, move to FL and "enjoy" the rest of their years.

Ok, in today's world, many don't graduate college - they stay in long enough to learn what they need, build the right relationships, drop out and build some technology company.

In a few years, if all goes well, they sell that company, maintain some "interest" in that company - then on to developing the next great company ! 
So, nothing to shabby about that scenario - as long as one takes the time to enjoy their life.

Me ? I never went to a 4 year college.
I did go to a community college, but never graduated.

Many of my younger years were spent partying and hanging out, gazing at the world and watching many of my friends go through the passages of jobs, marriages, kids, divorces, etc.

Me ? Yeah, I just wanted to hang out and keep it simple.

Anything shabby about that scenario ?
Maybe.....

Depends on how long one "hangs out".

Overall, I've lived a pretty cool life and I've done some VERY cool things, but I'm never satisfied.
Not sure if it's because I partied large blocks of my life away, or if I waited too long before I got "serious" about life.

In any case, I know I haven't made it back to the point, in my life, where I can say it's time to chill out, gaze out at the world and keep it simple.

2013 ? It's gonna be my best year yet !
Why ?
Because I'm going to take that next step of being all I can be so I can get to the "right side" of my life where I can chill out, gaze out at the world and keep it simple.......with a smile

Life IS short and we never know when our time runs out.
Live your life to the fullest and, always, strive to be the best you can be, so when your time comes, everyone will wonder why you're smiling.......
